Dynamical aspects of fragmentation

چکیده
In this short communication we address the problem of reducibility in a highly excited Lennard-Jones system. We show that the probability of emitting n fragments can be described in terms of a single probability through the binomial expression. However, the Arrhenius law does not hold and the process can be viewed as a mixture of sequential and simultaneous fragmentation events.

A Dynamical System Approach to Research in Second Language Acquisition
Epistemologically speaking, second language acquisition research (SLAR) might be reconsidered from a complex dynamical system view with interconnected aspects in the ecosystem of language acquisition. The present paper attempts to introduce the tenets of complex system theory and its application in SLAR. It has been suggested that the present dominant traditions in language acquisition research...
متن کاملModeling Patch Dynamics from Integration of Cellular Automata Simulation and Historical Air-photographs Analysis
Dynamics in nature are multi-faceted and difficult to follow. Computerized simulations offer new ways for investigating dynamic systems by incorporating their principle aspects . These simulations might be instrumental in discovering fundamental properties of dynamic systems such as duality between fragmentation and shape of changing patch patterns. Do fragmentation processes which occur over a...
متن کاملDynamical aspects of isotopic scaling
Investigation of the effect of dynamical stage established that the increasing width of initial Gaussian distributions is reflected by significant modification of the slope of final isoscaling plots after deexcitation. For narrow initial Gaussian distributions, the slope of isoscaling plots assumes the limiting value for two individual initial nuclei while for wide initial Gaussian distribution...
متن کاملHeart Rate Fragmentation: A Symbolic Dynamical Approach
Background: We recently introduced the concept of heart rate fragmentation along with a set of metrics for its quantification. The term was coined to refer to an increase in the percentage of changes in heart rate acceleration sign, a dynamical marker of a type of anomalous variability. The effort was motivated by the observation that fragmentation, which is consistent with the breakdown of the...

A new dynamical approach that combines covariant parton transport theory with hadronization channels via parton coalescence and fragmentation is applied to Au+Au at RHIC. Basic consequences of the simple coalescence formulas, such as elliptic flow scaling and enhanced p/π ratio, turn out to be rather sensitive to the spacetime aspects of coalescence dynamics.
